Velocity Micro ProMagix HD180 Max

The Velocity Micro ProMagix HD180 Max combines a six-core consumer-grade Core i7 processor with Nvidia Tesla and Quadro GPUs to make a video editing workstation that outperform systems with two Xeon processors.

GPU acceleration. High end multimedia performance. Lots of expansion room.

Huge Chassis. Only one year warranty standard. Expensive. Could use more USB 3.0 ports and/or Thunderbolt ports.

Service and support

Velocity Micro ProMagix

Fast; clean layout; solid components; beautiful case; maximized performance.

Expensive; no wireless keyboard or mouse.

Aimed at performance-hungry gamers, with an overclocked processor and a host of impressive components, this is the most powerful Prescott system so far.

Velocity Micro ProMagix

Great performance; hard drives offer lots of storage as well as faster performance

Finish tends to show dust and fingerprints quickly; overclocking may shorten the life of the PC
