Low price

The only snags with MSI Cubi are the low power processor and graphics, but of course these are the central features of this tiny PC and allow it to work so coolly and quietly. It’s a conundrum but Broadwell Core i3 is both the strength and weakness of...

All I know is that I loved every minute I spent with the Cubi, and for what it is, it’s definitely a contender for my most loved SFF creation of all t

MSI Cubi Mini PC Review

Looking for a system smaller than a 120mm case fan? You have came to the right place then; introducing the MSI Cubi

Pros: ; Great performance from Broad-well ; Variable models to suit a range of needs ; 4K support, and great connectivity – “usb ports galore” ; Super SFF mini PC

Cons: ; – It doesen’t come in pink! Jokes aside, my one dislike? Was that I couldn’t find more things I didn’t like about the Cubi.

MSI Cubi Review

For a while it seemed that all in one systems, machines which have the main PC components built into the back of the screen, would be the next big thing. That hasn't happened and instead the trend looks to be going more towards ultra compact systems,...

Starting with the build quality and design of the MSI Cubi we have no concerns. The system feels solid, is finished well and has a decent port layout. Access to the inside for upgrading components is very easy, just four screws, and we really like that...

Great little box.

Used 2 x Crucial 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model CT102464BF160B Didn't have to update bios.

- Cost. $109 after a $20 MIR. - Performance. CPU Benchmark of 2023. - Size. Smaller than a NUC - Ease of use. Very easy to add ram and, in my case, a 2.5" SSD. The supplied sata cable works great and is simple to attach. - Quiet. There is a small fan...

Good barebones system, but the fan is loud and sounds like it won't last long

The sata connector is really awkward to connect, it is very close to the side of the case and you have to use quite a bit of force, but once it's on it's fine. No hdmi 2.0, but i knew this before buying. If the fan wasn't messed up i'd probably give...

Speedy little system. Good form factor. Probably one of the most powerful mini pcs you can buy.

My main gripe is that the fan is really loud, sounds like it might be dying. It doesn't sound smooth at all. I should have done an exchange before my 30 days were up.

Great Form Factor

Great little PC with small form factor. Wish I could get the 16GB DDR3L to work but probably overkill anyway. Will stick with the single stick of 8GB. Still hope that MSI responds with a solution Update: I have updated to the latest BIOS and the 2...

Small Form Factor! This thing is small and compact. I added the SSD and it is still small. The i5 has plenty of punch to run a small server.

1. I couldn't to get both sticks of RAM to work for 16GB. Tried three different low voltage 1.35 volt DDR3L SODIMMs and only one stick will boot. This included G.Skill Ripjaws Series Laptop Memory F3-1600C9D-16GRSL 16GB (2 x 8G) DDR3 SO-DIMM 1.35v...

Hardware issues galore

I have been setting up PCs since the min-90s. This one sadly proved to be the biggest waste of time, at least from what I can recall. When the original unit arrived I immediately added 8GB of RAM (2x4). After reading other reviews on how picky this PC...

- Price - Features

- Multiple HW failures across two separate units - Unit is very choosy about what RAM it will accept - Cover is difficult to get back on after making hardware changes

Best Price in Town

MEMORY: Not "Picky" at all if you use the right stuff. I am using 1.35 volt RAM contrary to the 1.5 volt RAM incorrectly suggested above. I am using 4 GB Item #: N82E16820239699 and it works great. CABLE: The ssd cable attaches to the motherboard with...

I have had one of these for several months and just bought a second one here at Newegg because I could not find a better price anywhere. I have had numerous mini pc's and found this to be the best of the lot. First off, it has a fan and runs much...

Update

The Celeron version is all thats needed and 4 GB RAM is plenty too. RAM is the 1.35 volt type , not 1.5 volts as stated in the specs above.

I installed an SSD with Windows 7 pre-loaded and then upgraded it to Windows 10. No BIOS changes or updates of any kind were required for Windows 10. It works flawlessly on the Celeron version ($110 after rebate) and I can not tell the difference...

Cons: None.
