Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox Tiny review

A modular Chrome OS PC

Fast performance ; Modular setup ; Ships with keyboard and mouse

No memory card reader ; Limited storage ; No internal expansion

Lenovo brings Chrome OS to desktops in a compact form factor. The Chromebox Tiny joins Lenovo's Tiny-in-One ecosystem, allowing users to create a modular all-in-one desktop. The micro PC form factor of the Chromebox Tiny means you can position the...

Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox Tiny Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox Tiny Desktop is a dependable, quick machine that costs a little extra for more power than most Chrome OS users likely need. Still, it should appeal to business users on a budget.

Compact design that can stand vertically or lay horizontally. Speedy hardware. Keyboard and mouse included.

On the pricey side for a chromebox. Only 16GB local storage.

Conclusion The Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox Tiny Desktop efficiently performs the many tasks possible on Chrome OS without a hitch. There are enough ports and power to play media and perform basic computing functions. The Asus Chromebox M004U is a much...

Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox review: Put Chrome OS on your desk

For basic online tasks, a Chromebox desktop is a low-cost option.

Lenovo's business-oriented ThinkCentre Chromebox is inexpensive, provides plenty of connectivity, and offers easy access to online and cloud-based tools.

More flexible Windows-based systems are not much more expensive. The inherent limitations of Chrome OS make it less than ideal for many professionals.

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox doesn't exactly inspire, but if you or your employees need simple online access, it performs well for a very small investment.

Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox 10H5

Take that same Chrome OS, which is essentially Google's own Chrome Web browser and a few wraparound file management features, and turn it into a desktop, and you have a pitch that's a little tougher to make. A Chrome desktop, such as the Lenovo...

Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox review: Put Chrome OS on your desk

Chromebook laptops, which run Google's Chrome OS instead of the Windows or OS X operating systems, have an easy to understand pitch. These are generally inexpensive, portable PCs that spend nearly all their time online, and are handy for basic Web...

All in all, the Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox Tiny Desktop is a great product running Chrome OS. I didn’t have any issues other than one that upset me for a short time. Don’t touch the power on button on Tiny-in-One as it’ll restart the system. Not a...
