HP Pavilion p6210y review: HP Pavilion p6210y

HP Pavilion p6210y

Reasonable performance for its price; glossy case design adds flare; organized interior with space for upgrades.

Gateway offers a faster, more flexible PC for less.

The HP Pavilion P6210y gets by as a decent performer in entry-level applications, but we're disappointed by its lack of features. It can definitely serve as a family PC, but the Gateway SX2800-01 is a faster computer with more flexibility in its...

HP TouchSmart 300-1200 and HP Pavilion p6210y

Today we'll be reviewing two very different systems from Hewlett-Packard, the HP TouchSmart 300-1200 and the HP Pavilion p6210y. One offers an interesting all-in-one design, while the other promises to fit nicely into your budget. Let's take a closer...

If you enjoy chatting with friends, the integrated webcam and microphone are handy for video chatting via services like Skype. Data transfer from other devices like digital cameras can be done as well, thanks to the desktop's media card reader that...

HP Pavilion P6210F Desktop

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. The p6210f has respectable processor, lots of RAM, a fast FSB, and a more than adequate HD. All this was at a very good price at Office Depot and they've run two sales since I bought mine.

HP Pavilion P6210F Desktop

Picked one of these HP p6210f loaded with Windows 7 at Office Depot on the day that Windows 7 became universally available (10/22/09).

Happy Camper

I prefer wireless mice, but I actually like the keyboard and mouse that came with it. My new monitor got here same day, (Acer from the Egg also) So, for under 600 bucks I have a all new desktop and its really nice. I love it.

I built a lot of AMD/Asus based Gaming machines prior to 95. IN 95 I purchased two HPs, a Media Center and a Laptop. Both have given me no problems. I gave away all but my Media Center after moving this year. A snow storm caused major power outages and...

I have no complaints, other than it got here faster than I expected. Cant complain about that. 7 moved all my 32 bit files for me and converted it to 64 bit. Amazing if you think about what all is going on

Great deal for the money!

Great deal for the money. Get it while you can.

Great deal. Just plugged in and was up and running quickly. Quite and FAST! Handles everything that I need it for (no gaming). Windows 7 is so much better than Vista, hands down

Cheap rubber skid pads on bottom came off. Keyboard/mouse take up two of four USB ports on back. Just used old keyboard and mouse to free up

Recertified: HP Pavilion P6210Y(NY545AAR) Athlon II X4 620(2.6GHz) 6GB DDR2 640GB NVIDIA GeForce 9100 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

For the money, why not buy this. How can you go wrong? 6GB DDR 2 RAM, 640GB hard drive, Windows 7, duel video output (monitor and HDTV) best buy ever.

Fast, silent, Best Computer I ever had right out of the box! Had zero issues, none of the issues others have reported. Never new what I was missing with my old XP OS, till now! Windows 7 is Awsome, very happy that I took the chance and changing OS. I...

None, I uninstalled Nortons and used my preference, done deal

Very good with minor irritations

I definitely recommend the computer as long as you're aware of the hardware changes and software problems. Note that it comes with Windows 7 but not MS Office. But you can download the Open Office software suite which is comparable and compatible.

As you can see, this is a low price for a powerful machine. I haven't given it a full test run yet, but so far it seems like a strong machine

The biggest problem I have with the machine is that my old wireless network card would not fit, so I had to buy another one. Newegg shows you pictures of the inside, but you have to really know what you're looking for already to notice that the normal...
