I just bought this pc from TigerDirect (a canadian vendor) .. right out of the box (after finishing Vista updates & setting up Media Center) the system started the random shutdowns (all be it not so random, as now I know it is a heat issue).

PARTIAL SOLUTION TO SHUT DOWNS! As stated earlier these run hot. These are also a dust magnet and every so often I have to blow out the dust and then I don't get the shutdowns. About once a month blow out the dust and it will probly not shut down on you.
