it is the on board gpu its the little heatsink under the main cpu chip.mine the thermal paste was dried up like a rock!i replaced all the heatsinks paste in the pc with artic silver 5 and added a few fans .easy anyone could do this. well…..u know.it runs

I had a problem awhile ago with this computer, it was the opposite in that Windows wouldn't shut down, so I had to unplug the machine and plug it back in, that solved the problem, but a little later down the road about 2 months later I was starting window...

Sudden shut downs increased so much that I had to replace the motherboard with the Intel DG45ID - Perfect match. Now all works like a charm - no hangups.
