The screen is only half the story in an all-in-one PC and, while the A5600 U’s design certainly makes it look like a high-end machines, the hardware underneath is a little underpowered compared to the competition at this price.

The Acer makes a good first impression, and in many ways it’s a fine all-in-one. However, its main rival – the Asus ET2300 – costs almost £200 less and is better in most areas. Ultimately, that’s the machine we recommend you buy.

Clear and crisp graphics

Slower than the three year old Packard Bell all-in-one that we replaced with the Acer product. Tends to hang up for quite long periods.
