Vtech

Don't waste your time! Worst phone ever!

price ; display ; rated highly by Consumer Reports

Phones won't consistently answer for incoming calls ; interference with wireless network a problem ; cheap handset ; personal recording for answering machine sounds like you are underwater while the prerecorded one is fine

Warm phones

Due to the money I saved buying these phones I can almost afford my new car.

Great for overclocking. I got these running at 6.4GHz with stock cooling

Runs a little too hot, but it wont play my MP3s. Also, the FedEx guy forgot to shave and didn't clean his mustache

Vtech batteries are bad news

They get you on the replacement batteries which are quite expensive!

Inexpensive phones

The batteries in the Vtech phones are horrible. I have had several Vtech phones and they do not have any durability. You will be lucky if they last a year. Unfortunately for me the price of the phones are so cheap that they are very popular presents....

Disappointed with this model

Overall this is a decent set of phones, but my biggest problems relate to the battery life. My job involves a lot of conference calls; sometimes I can be on the phone 6-8 hours in a day. Most of the time, these phones won't last during such marathon...

Good overall voice quality ; Competitive price ; Solid phones (have withstood being dropped a few times) ; Good speakerphone

No battery life indicator ; Short talk time / off-cradle time

Chose not to buy name brand.

I still have a phone.

Warranty support from Vtech was very disappointing.
