I like this phone overall. Lots of great features, especially the answering machine access from handset. Have a problem with the answering machine options though. First, you can not hear the outgoing message during call screening. You hear 4 rings, the...

KX-TG2730

Speakerphone built in to base unit and handsets. Use handset to retrieve answering machine messages.

Setting menus are complex, confusing. Unable to access lists while in a call.

I'm very disappointed in my KX TG2730 phone system

The system is very unreliable. Very often when it rings and I go to answer it (both the main system and the one extension I have) I get an message that saying I'm too far away from the base phone, yet I'm standing right there. Needless to say I end up ...

I love the fact you just plug the phone extension into a regular electrical outlet.

A Battery that works!

Like many others who have reviewed this phone, I think the phone is terrific but loathe the batteries. I have a base station and two extension handsets (for a total of three cordless handsets). Phone usage is very light in our family, with less than ...

A battery that lasts as long as I expected it to.

I bought too many Panasonic batteries before finding it.

Great phone horrible battery

I purchased this phone system and an additional handset in September 2002. About four weeks later my troubles began. Despite following all directions for initial use and only charging the handset when indicated I began to have huge problems. I would ...

Terrible battery makes the phone virtually unusable

I agree with all the previous reviewers who had problems with the Panasonic battery. We purchased the base unit, two extra handsets, and have had problems with all the handsets. Similar to other users, the battery charge indicator showed 3 bars (full ...

System of expandable handsets in theory is a great idea

Battery life is poor that this single con essentially wipes out all other pros
