Note that because I really needed to replace my phone, I bought a slightly different Panasonic phone at a local B&M store and it works perfectly.

Its hard to find a phone with an ear plug jack nowadays, this one does the job.

The range of the phone when away from the base is not as long as I would have liked. People I talk to complain of a bit of distortion,when I use my basement phone upstairs

Doesn't have an antennae like my previous Panasonic phones. Maybe that's why the range is somewhat limited.

Sound quality very good. Excellent features. Not as much range as my previous Panasonic phone, but the extra handset solves that problem. Very easy to set up, good owners manual

The New Voicemail indicator does not work. Called Panasonic tech support and they determined the phone was defective. RMA'ed to NewEgg and will add to this review, if necessary, when the replacement arrives
