Still works good after three years in 2008

I purchased this unit about 3 years ago. I don't like to review something until I've had a chance to really try it out for a while. This is, of course, a simple, basic cordless telephone. It works on 900 Mhz, has redial and 10 program memory numbers. ...

Simple, reliable, decent looking, intuitive, good volume, adjustable volume, redial

No extra features to speak of ; older design and battery type

You really do get what you pay for...

Last year I bought a GE cordless phone to replace a prehistoric phone that had finally given up the ghost. I was so pleased with it (see my review at http://www.epinions.com/content_89656954500) that when I needed a ...

Cheap. Compact base. Handset isn't too big or too small.

Poor reception. Poor, unpredictable battery life.

Can You hear me now?

No! No one can hear you when your phone inexplicably stops working! Ok, now that I have vented some frustration, let me begin. First of all, I am a broke college student which tells you that I needed a dorm phone that was both cheap and space-savin ...

Looks nice, easy to use, good reception, 900 MHz, price

Inexpensive, volume control, on/off ringer switch

Low battery life, static, interference, keypad not lighted

Even E.T Couldn't Phone Home!

If ever there was a product that I could positively hate, it is the GE 900Mhz cordless phone. Although the packaging is appealing, and the phone is such a cute little thing, that is as far as this phone goes. It has volume control for the hand piece...

GE 26928 Cordless Phone

I have not had terrific experience with cordless phones recently. A few years ago, I had both a Sony and an AT&T that had terrible range and flaky operation and was completely soured on cordless phones.

Small and lightweight ; good controls

dull sounding

Awful

This, 'thing' is a neat paperweight that actually looks like a phone. Don't be fooled though, as it certainly doesn't function like one. It doesn't matter what I do, how I set it, or what the directions tell me, I can't get this thing to work worth a...
