Surprisingly Speedy, Excellent Coffee

Not a cheap machine to buy ( Won the US award for best coffee maker in the world ) and like all coffee makers, if you put rubbish beans in then rubbish coffee comes out . That said, hard to beat for getting great coffee and amazingly quick from start...

Moccamaster Delicious!

I have been using the technivorm moccamaster for about a year now and i can't fault it! It is consistently smooth every time and makes a gorgeous, satisfying cup in less than two minutes. In the morning, i really appreciate how quick and easy it is to...

The best

This is the best coffee machine I have ever used. It makes perfect coffee every time. The coffee is brewed at the correct temperature and with the correct contact time between water and coffee. Certified by Speciality Coffee Associations in Europe and...

Performance, quality and price. Makes the best coffee. Period.

The best coffee brewer you can buy!

I bought a Refurbished Technivorm Moccamaster CDT from Boyds Coffee. It looks brand new and I saved over $100 from a new one.

Makes Awesome Coffee

None so far, I guess if I have to write something would be that the refurbished models do not come with the brew-though lid/top. Also, no bells and whistles, i.e., timer, grinder

I can finally count on consistently wonderful coffee!

I have been looking at this coffeemaker for years, reading reviews on different sites, but just could not bring myself to spend the money. I have brewed coffee every way imaginable--every electric drip machine ever sold, vacuum pot, Chemex, French...

Easy to use. Makes consistently wonderful coffee. Looks very cool on the kitchen counter

If I any one complaint it would be that there are a lot of pieces. There are separate lids to remove from the water reservoir and the coffee basket. I feel like there are a lot of pieces to move around when you use the Moccamaster. This is a pretty...

The best drip coffee in a compact, well build, thoughtfully designed and executed drip machine.

I have been roasting my own coffee for a year now (Hottop). I generally enjoy drip daily and the occasional espresso or latte (silvia). I bought a Krups brewer a year ago (the one that has the integrated burr grinder). I was noticing that the quality...

Makes the best drip coffee I've ever had ; Compact design ; Looks good ; Easy to use ; Fast and focused on good coffee

No auto-off ; Plastic parts are a bit cheesy ; Water reservoir steams up after use (aesthetics) ; Could benefit from some enhancements

This machine gets very close to realizing what the grower and roaster envisioned in your cup.

This machine flat out makes great coffee. I have brewed everything from $44 a pound small lot from Stumptown, to Dunkin' Donuts Whole bean, and every cup is smooth and delicious (although some more than others obviously). I have brewed identical side...

Clean, Simple Design. No whistles and bells that you don't need. Gets the water hot fast. Makes great coffee

Thermal Carafe is not "brew through." Carafe capacity larger than reservoir. Carafe pours oddly. Large east- west footprint

Don't bother.

This is a sleek efficient looking product and slightly higher in price than its American competition. It was rated highly in a Cook's Illustrated competition which is usually a take-to-the-bank dependable review system . The heating system itself...

The coffee flavor is better than most American products; it does not contain that overly bitter taste produced by the too high temperature of the heating element of the American manufacturers. The brew goes straight into the thermos

Because it does not have a bottom heater the cofee is never hot enough even if you preheat the thermos. There are too many detachable parts to the product. The "mid-stop" switch goes on too easily during cleaning causing flooding during operation if...

Despite minor issues, a fantastic and unique coffee maker for those willing to spend $200+

I had some time to make my decision on what drip coffee maker to purchase so I did quite a bit of research before deciding on the Technivorm Moccamaster. I was leaning towards a KitcheAid Pro Line model but based on other reviews, there were some...

Very well engineered product ; I really like the design / looks of the product ; Makes damn good coffee ; Engineered to brew coffee at correct temperature while minimizing air contact ; Simple, effective coffee making ; Uses cone filters - better than...

Plug is upside down / cord points up when plugged into a standard outlet ; Filter basket is plastic, should be stainless steel

Your favorite coffee can taste the same at home as it does in the coffee shop.

Brews superior, very hot coffee ; Simplicity (no clock, no timer, no built-in grinder), fewer things to break ; Solid, heavy construction ; Access to grounds during brew cycle (for stirring)

Prefer slightly greater capacity ; Convenience for some (no clock, no timer, no built-in grinder)
