Bought this machine as we are coffee drinkers. What a disappointment. Very expensive. Been back for repair after 3 months use. Asked for refund refused. Sits in box unused. Waste of money. Gone back to using Tassimo.

Poor quality

Purchased this Christmas 2011. Makes great coffee but brewing unit failed after 6 months. It then spent nearly 6 weeks being repaired using the previously mentioned poor repair service from Jura. Other Jura models are made in Switzerland. This one...

Poor quality coffee machine

Eventually decided to buy this coffee machine after much consideration. Initially we were disappointed as it made a rather weak black coffee due to the finest grind setting being rather coarse. Returned to Jura who adjusted the setting and it then...

Not impressed

Machine has already been returned and new brewer unit - after 2months. Then broke again. Water leaks out and coffee has stained the work tops. PLUS the chute for ground coffee is full of mould. In fact when I took the machine apart it was full of...

Beautiful machine and excellent size. Unfortunately the cappuccino and lattes were just not hot enough for us even on hottest setting as it doesnt warm the milk enough. Also if making milk drinks you have to remove parts daily for cleaning as well as...

Overpriced for features and quality of build

I was properly one of the first people in Australia to buy one (so I was told by Jura Australia) and I deeply regret that I ever purchased this machine. Paying 1400 dollar It had to be replaced once within 4 month and was now 2 times at repair since...

Your view of a good cup of coffee will change

I tried this machine while visiting a relative that owns one. I was there for about a week. At home I owned a Starbuck Verismo thinking I was doing good. However after tasting the coffee from this Jura ENA 9, coffee at home was just never good enough....

Great Coffee

All works well with very little set up and maintenance. After setting it up it makes great coffee and I am still working on which beans give the best result. On the negative side even with heating up the cups the coffee is still only Luke warm. I noted...

So far so good

I got this for a very good price from Harvey Norman so I couldn't resist. And I was particularly attracted to a Jura machine because they specialise in automatic coffee machines and because they need less maintenance than other brands generally (eg...

Can use beans or ground coffee, can adjust some elements to suit your taste/preference, frothed milk in milk drinks is almost perfect, crema on expressos is good, relatively small footprint for a fully automatic machine, 'bossiness' can be a pain, but...

Ongoing maintenance costs if you use Jura products for filters, cleaning tablets, milk frother cleaner etc), no separate milk frother (can only make predetermined milk drinks like cappucino; can't make frothed milk on its own) but then I didn't want to...
