All in all, a decent coffee maker

This machine has been our primary coffee maker for a year now. It makes a GREAT cup of coffee due to the careful brew system design for the grounds basket and flow cup. It WOULD be a much better item if it brewed ten or twelve cups rather than only...

Attractive style, component disassembly for cleaning, great taste

Must "pre-heat" the carafe, White carafe turns grungy quickly, too small a carafe

Ahhhh, Coffee Nirvana!

This may be coffee nirvana. My new Capresso "Elegance Therm" arrived a few days ago and I am happily brewing terrific pots of coffee. When my last coffeemaker quit cold one dire morning last week, I immediately hopped on the internet and spent time ...

Should have bought a Krups

As an avid coffee drinker, I have always used a Krups. Then I broke the pot and could not find a replacement. As a result, I decided to buy a Capresso. I wanted the feature of thermal because it keeps it hot without changing the flavor. This is the...

It Was ALMOST a Good Idea

I used to own the Capresso Elegance Therm coffee maker, before I bought my wonderful Bunn B-10 coffee maker. (You can check my review out for more info on it - it's awesome!) At first, I was bowled over by the Capresso. It made a real good cup of...

Good standard coffee maker

The best feature on this coffee maker is the thermal pot. It totally avoids the nasty problem of the burner destroying the coffee flavor. I have had no big problems with this coffee maker and would recommend it to anyone. The coffee is consistent...

Capresso not my cup of tea !!

After researching the thermal coffee makers available, the Capresso seemed to be the best in terms of features and styling, although it was more pricey than most.

Attractive, clean styling and great tasting coffee. 24 hr.timer

Quality is poor, engineering is not what it should be.

We paid $110 and wish we hadn't, after we inspected the Mr.Coffee and DeLonghi versions. But the carafe design was nice - big handle and wide mouth. HOWEVER, The Coffee isn't hot enough right from the start, and cools very quickly despite the...

like the carafe design

Great coffee at a great price

The Capresso Elegance Therm Coffee Machine 437 is a great buy. It is reasonable priced compared to others in its class. The machine comes with a water filter, a removable water container, gold tone filter (no more paper filter buying), and the...

Cheap cheap cheap

This machine is cheap garbage, clearly made by a marketing company, not by anyone who cares about coffee or knows about coffee. The water filter is a cheap, useless gimmick - it will work as billed for just a couple of uses, thereupon requiring the...

Easy pour Thermal carafe+charcol water filter+programmable

I love coffee, but, only when it is good. Sometimes, when someone is kind enough to pour me a cup, it just sits there, because I have tasted it, and, it just doesn't measure up. Good coffee is simple:

Thermal easy-pour carafe holds heat+flavor, programmable, water filter, cone brewing, removable resevoir, drip-stop
