Offers iconic design and simple brewing of good espresso shots, but the milk foam it produced wasn't so great.

The X7.1 is designed for the casual espresso drinker who wants hassle-free espresso without the cost of a fully automatic machine. And it does a decent job here, because the espresso is good and the brewing process is simple and mess-free. The steam...

Excellent expresso's (Illy coffee is one of the best). Simple to use. Milk foamer is very effective and makes for a lovely cappuccino. Looks very professional in the kitchen and is great talking point.

The water tank is fiddly to remove/put back.

Fantastically stylish and makes the best coffee imaginable. Just love being able to froth the milk so much more than just an espresso maker. Amazing price from Curry's.

Filling up the water is a bit fiddley but a minor detail.
