my in-laws have had this coffee maker since before i met them (8+ years now) and they still use it every day, we've gone through 4-5 in that same time and finally when the last one went and we tried a cheapy from w**-mart that just wasn't what we...

produces HOT coffee, compared to some cheaper ones, quality feel due to the steel casing(the lid is plastic and the base, the rest is steel) the black is kind of like a powder coated steel

price, but got on sale and pending rebate , well worth it

Very good, BUT......

 

Total burn out (nearly burn up) in less than a year??? Give me a break.

It has worked VERY well and I have been very pleased with this product..........until now
