frequent spills but otherwise usable

It is hard to find a $20 coffee maker based on the old Mr. Coffee design these days. This was the best I could find, but I'm somewhat disappointed. Features: drip-stop - pot can be removed while brewing. Auto-off - pot heater turns off after 2 ...

Cheap. Drip-stop, timer, alarm.

Easy to spill, hard to refill.

Black and Decker's Carafe Gaffe

When our old faithful coffee maker died, I scurried right out to Wal-Mart to buy another so that there would be no disruption in our morning coffee ritual. I should have scurried right to my computer and looked up coffee makers on epinions. Instead, I ...

Auto shut-off, automatic timer, sneak-a-cup, reasonably priced.

Carafe can't pour without spilling. Basket removal is difficult. Coffee not hot enough for me.

Poorest design I have ever seen.

Whoever designed this coffee maker has never made a pot of coffee. All the good options are there but so poorly executed that this coffee maker is a daily annoyance.

The timer works.

Everything else.

Black & Decker 12-Cup VersaBrew Plus Programmable Coffeemaker DCM1250

Inexpensive, nice features, easy to clean

Carafe does spill some, but nothing major.

Black and Decker? makes mighty fine hand tools. The same concern created a toaster oven my mother swears by and a simple iron yours truly abused by neglect for more than a decade. The tiny Handy/Chopper? resting upon my countertop gets plenty of use...

Digital timer ; Non-stick hot plate ; Sneak-a-Cup feature

Quirky configuration of the swing-out filter basket and carafe lid

Not a bad machine at all.

I picked one of these up for the Missus as I would come home for lunch and would smell the coffee burning that she left on while running out the door for work. I figured I need a pot with auto start and auto stop to keep the place from burning down....

Cheap, works well, lasts a long time.

For the 30 bucks I paid...none.

Heaven in a coffee maker..........

This is my first review so go easy on me, ok guys? :)

Good, fast coffee even after 5 years of use.

Carafe is a little small if you have coffee loving friends over.

Do yourself a favor and skip this maker!

Please bear with me, this is my first review. I HAD to sign myself up just so I can vent about my unhappiness with this product.

Inexpensive

POOR Design!

gourmet coffee for a great price

Buying this coffee maker is like buying a Geo Metro that has a Mercedes engine under the hood. The simple design could fool you into thinking it won't make a great cup of coffee. That's not at all the case. It makes an incredible pot of coffee...

inexpensive, durable, it's the reason I get up in the morning

it doesn't run to the store for more filter when I run out

Gotta have a cup o' joe?

Looks great, sturdy carafe, and super easy programming.

Basket hard to remove/replace, spills easy, and takes too long to brew.
