Cost of additional batteries - longer duration batteries. Cost of insurance for repairs, should it be necessary. I worry as to how long the Handycam projector will last and if it can be repaired should it fail.

Clear viewfinder, good control ergonomics, easy transfer to PC

A few too many items buried in the menu. Following faces and taking stills while filming video is a distraction. Stored files not always compatible with DVD players etc

Light weight, easy to carry, good images in video, value for money.

Do not like software that comes with the camcorder, I will have to buy a new bundle to process video. It should come with a case, but I can not fault the camcorder.

taking photos is a waste of time.quality very poor compared to video.cannot transfer videos from earlier video camcorder toview on this one.
