Sony DCR-TRV280 Camcorder Review

The DCR-TRV280 is this year's low-end addition to the Sony Digital8 series. What it lacks in manual control options it makes up for in price, and what it lacks in chic packaging it compensates for in ease of use. It's the only Sony model that does not...

Solid performer

The Sony DCR-TRV280 camera is rugged, dependable and takes great video. The battery life is decent and the picture quality is very good.

No complaints so far.

The Sony DCR-TRV280 is light weight and easy to use. I found it to be simple to use immediately; the TRV 280 is a very good deal as a full-featured Digital8 camcorder. Would definately recommend to friends and family!

We bought this camcorder mainly for taking family videos, but the quality was good enough that we actually ended up taping events and selling the videos to other families! Although it is slightly inconvenient to use tapes, at least you can buy several ...
