Excellent Product!

To the person who couldn't figure out Face Detection: You go to the menu. You touch "Face Detection". You touch "On". That's it. Face detection is automatic, you don't need to do anything else. Actually, I believe it's on by default. It makes faces...

Two thumbs up

I bought this camcorder a few days back and have used it to my satisfaction. Very easy to use, good picture quality, huge memory, very light. Only thing I can complain about is that when you play the video on the camcorder the sound quality is ok,...

Bang for buck

Speaker on the camera can be improved.....sound not loud, clear

Mac users will be DISAPPOINTED.

The camcorder itself is GREAT. However, if you are a Mac user, THIS CAMCORDER IS USELESS. The Handycam is only supported by Windows, making it impossible (as far as I know) to upload photos/videos directly from the unit to your Mac.

NOT Mac supported. No infrared feature

Where's The Remote??? Nighshot???

I used to love Sony products. They still make one of the best TV's out there and their camcorders have always been excellent.
