The CCD-TRV66 is a Hi8 camcorder with a MSRP of $899. It has a 20x optical zoom and a 360x digital zoom. The camcorder has the Control L editing protocol, which allows you to edit.

A Great Camcorder

 

I bought the TRV66 as my first camera for videography. It was the closest thing to going digital without actually, well, going digital.

A lot of features, great picture, affordable

Low light situations cause quite a bit of grain - can be solved with proper lighting.

Great camera! Great Price!

 

I got my camera in march i think it was at best buy for $599(plus 10% off) with a free tripod and bag with the $100 service plan which was worth it because after a few months the lens and tape recorder part gets dirty so i take it in and in ten minutes...

Good picture and sound quality for price.

none so far.
