Panasonic SV-AV50 SD Video Camera - Pocket-lint

The battery life would only really affect video, for the still digicam it would be long enough, however check for an updated model for possible battery

Capable video camera

Poor Battery Life and video playback

While this unit does have its drawbacks there is a lot more going for it than not. As a video note taker out in the field it is perfect for the job at hand. It's small, capable of taking large amounts of footage (dependant SD card size) and if you're...

Best Innovative Design: Panasonic SV-AV50 D-Snap

The Panasonic SV-AV50 D-Snap is a truly unique innovative design, with its ‘scissor-like' way of opening the lens and the LCD viewfinder in one and the same movement. Panasonic has shown that it understands that consumers today are looking for cameras...

Panasonic D-snap SV-AV50 (Silver) review: Panasonic D-snap SV-AV50 (Silver)

Intro Manufacturers are cramming so many functions into their products these days, it's hard to know which ones to refer to as all-in-one devices. If anything qualifies, it would have to be the cell phone-size Panasonic D-snap SV-AV50, which combines a...

Small size; combines photo, video, and audio capture; plays music files and recorded TV shows.

Photo quality is often poor; no optical zoom; no red-eye reduction; only a few settings for each media function.

Stylishly small and loaded with multimedia functions, the D-snap SV-AV50 has too few settings for its functions and captures mostly below-average photos.

Panasonic D-Snap SV-AV50 Camera Review

Today, we check out an interesting adition to Panasonic's already behemoth product line. This lightweight and easy-to-use digital camera from Panasonic will turn heads while you are using it, but does it offer antything more than looks?

The one that we have here today is the D-Snap model from Panasonic, the SV-AV50 model that uses nothing but an SD flash memory card for media

Not good picture/video quality...but it'll hold up in court

Does so many things it doesn't do anything well. Needs a proprietary CODEC to view MPEG-4 (Super Fine) Video. SD Moviestage software allows conversion to WM format but it's worse than the already heavily compressed MPEG-4! And you can't "give" the...

NOT to be used as your primary camera!

When I first saw the form factor, and the supposed function of this nifty little gadget from Panasonic (a name I have often associated with high quality), I was quick to purchase one. I purchased mine from an online retailer - PC Mall, and I paid a ...

Don't buy it !!!!

The look is really nice, and the interface is smart but the picture quality is really poor, I had better result with my 5 years old digital canon which was also a 2,1 megapixels.

Nice look

Very bad image and video quality
