Panasonic HDC-SD700 review

The Panasonic HDC-SD700 slots snugly between the Panasonic SDR-H280 and the Panasonic HDC-HS700-K as the company's midrange offering.

The Panasonic HDC-Sd700 is everything that a high-def camcorder should be. It provides a wealth of advanced features for experienced videographers, while remaining very user-friendly for beginners. Without question, it is one of the best HD camcorders...

Panasonic HDC-SD700 Full HD camcorder

The Panasonic HDC-SD700 is a Full HD camcorder that records AVCHD video to removable flash memory cards. With a retail price of $1499, it slots snugly...

Superb 1080p HD video performance, 14.2-megapixel still image mode, lots of high-end features for videophiles (including external audio and a manual focus ring)

A bit bulkier than competing flash memory-based camcorders, no inbuilt memory

The Panasonic HDC-Sd700 is everything that a high-def camcorder should be. It provides a wealth of advanced features for experienced videographers, while remaining very user-friendly for beginners. Without question, it is one of the best HD camcorders...

Where do I start, this unit is lightweight but robust and offers superior picture quality and complete ease of use.

None that I can think of.

Lightweight, powerful, auto and manual settings, easy to use out of the box, advanced setting when you need them.

Just make sure you buy a spare battery and SD card.
