The item description states "Captures 1080p HD video" but the Panasonic website says otherwise: "RECORDING & PLAYBACK Signal System 1080 / 60i." So it only does 1080i not 1080p. False advertising.

If small size and low weight are important considerations, but you don't want the poor-quality video that's typical of pocket camcorders, you should consider the Panasonic HDC-SD10
Small and light ; Welcome balance between simplicity and advanced features ; Pleasing video picture quality
Weak photo quality ; Some construction issues ; Over-eager autofocus
Conclusion The Panasonic HDC-SD10 isn't perfect by a long shot, but, overall, the good points outweigh the bad. Combining small size and convenience with decent performance, Panasonic's petite video star is simple enough for first timers, yet offers...

High-definition video, recorded straight to a memory card
Easy to use; memory card shooting is cheap and convenient; superb quality in slow-moving scenes
Motion blur was a problem; relatively expensive
A decent camera, but better results can be had without spending much more

There is a dilemma, if you bought the TM10 instead of this (for around £25-30 more) you would get the same camera but with 8GB of internal memory or you could buy the SD10 without the internal memory but with the savings go out and buy a larger memory...
Whichever choice you make, it will be a good one

The SD-10 is targeted towards the casual user that will have the camera on auto mode pretty much all the time.
The SD-10 is targeted towards the casual user who wants to record decent quality videos without really getting in the details and manually adjusting settings. From that aspect, its a decent camera and at a retail price of AED 2399/- makes it a good...
