Panasonic HDC-HS80

The HS80 lacks the sleekness of its competitors and the video quality, while satisfactory, fails to break any new ground.

Comfortable to hold ; Warm, realistic colours ; Effective image stabilisation

Poor low-light performance ; Frustrating interface and menus

The design of the HDC-HS80 camera is unappealing, as it lacks the modern sleekness of its competitors, and the video quality, while satisfactory, doesn't live up to other cameras within its range. The external LED light and image stabiliser are saving...

Panasonic HDC-HS80

The Panasonic HDC-HS80K is a solid option for a hard drive camcorder that shoots in full HD 1080/60i, especially with its many features and the 120GB hard disk drive. While a few of the similar camcorders may have even more features and a larger hard...

The HD video looks great, and the 120GB hard drive stores up to 50 hours of video

It doesn’t shoot in 1080/60p like similar hard drive camcorders

This is an affordable hard drive camcorder option that shoots great-looking HD video.

I have a relatively big hand and its small size can be awkward. The strap has limited adjustment. Wind noise can be an issue, but probably no more than any other camera

Great Product!

I bought this camcorder for casual family events and it has proven to be a great camera. The 120GB hard drive is a great option for the price. Excellent zoom and focus. But just like most cameras in that price range, low light conditions seem to make...
