Panasonic AG-DVC60 review:

Uniquely professional form factor and features for its price; great audio section and motorized zoom; a terrific value.

Consumer-oriented controls make some pro-oriented features frustrating to operate for those accustomed to pro gear; Frame Mode not as good as true progressive imaging; noninterchangeable lens; lacks manually controlled neutral-density filter.

At its price point, an unrivaled value in an entry-level shoulder-mounted DV camera.

Panasonic AG-DVC60

I still wake up every morning thrilled that I bought this camera. I am very happy with the purchase and higly recommend the DVC60 to anyone who wants to turn heads shooting and please clients visually in the entry to mid-level videography segment.

I love this camera! The images look awesome and the manual controls give you even more shooting flexibility. The shoulder mounted form gives you a very professional look, crucial for wedding and event work. Everyone that sees me with this thing on my...

This camera has more manual features than I was used to using, so there was a some learning curve. That isn't really a con on the camera, more of a con on me. I wish this camera had 48v phantom power for condenser mics. XLR inputs are awesome at this...

Panasonic AG-DVC 60 OK by me!

I purchased my DVC 60 largely because I wanted to shoot from the shoulder and enjoy the stability that comes with that. This camera is the only product at this price point that gave me what I wanted. I had read the audio complaints of others and was a ...

Great viewfinder, shoulder mount stability and easy to use. TWO accessory shoes

excellent first professional step

I work a municipal television station as a cameraman, found it easy to learn and use.

adjusts quickly to brightness, without overly stopping down shoulder mount - ability to hold steady smaller crew to support system only basic lights setup for night coverage supports 3 microphones

is it really - must use wireless microphone to input best Audio. The built in microphone is good for only for foley and background noise.

Images in good light levels are pristine.

Automatic focus in low light or even near low light is lousy.
