nice

this is a nice camera. it was used in my case as a helmet cam for skiing. i would suggest that it is used in a stationary position, and that a piece of wool or something is placed over the mic to reduce wind sounds. would be good for a security cam.

this camera is nice and small, has the ability to clip on to things, and beeps when it is turned on off or a recording is started or stopped so you dont need to look at the camera to know what your doing. nice battery life and film length, good quality...

bad sound quality, you need to be outside or in a large room, if your not you here echoing sounds. it also is not so good at hearing sounds that are more then 10 feet away

Not for motorcycles or cold

I own several high end helmet cameras. These looked like a bargain and the lure of not having cables to mess with was too much to resist so I got two. I'd also seen video a co-worker took while riding his bicycle and it looked very passable....

No cables, lots of mounting hardware comes with it, batteries last a long time. Fully charged NiMH 2600mAH AAs last at least 5 hours of recording. Uses inexpensive 2GB SD cards. Good quality hardware

Horrible/unusable video at anything over about 25 to 30mph. If you're walking or riding a bicycle and it's sunny out it'll work fine, otherwise beware. The video is very "wavy", it looks like it can't compress the video fast enough. Only stores one...

Not bad for a cheap helmet cam

This is a great little camera. You can put it in all kinds of dangerous situations and not have to worry about losing a bunch of money if it gets destroyed. I have mine attached to my fire helmet and it has held up to heat, water, ice, everything I...

Durable, waterproof, small, light-weight, inexpensive

not great in low light, and the compression is a little much, but hey, it is $100

Lowest price on the net

I read reviews for products on this site and I want to thank all of you who post good solid reviews because it really helps. It seems that I will be spending twice as much as this one listed for a good cam but this one isn't bad, it just isn't that good.

Newegg does it again having the lowest prices on the Internet and I knew it all along from watching others try to compete with NEgg. I searched for one of these hundred buck type cams online for a day or so and found this one here. I started on GooGal...

No real con except low quality image is all that I see or I should say don't see with this product. Furthermore I went to this products manufacture page and read up a bit on this action cam and it seems okay but not what I am looking for. If you follow...

Pretty good

It's a good small durable cheap camera. The quality is just ok. Works much better in sun lite areas. Most digital cameras are like that.

Durable. Dropped it off the dirt bike and still working with no issues. Cheap. Lots of mounting stuff

Only 2gb max memory. Bleh

Terrible image quality

Note the Newegg no-return-at-all policy on this item. There might just be a reason for that. I will still use it for what I bought it for, so it gets 2 eggs out of 5.

Truly waterproof, reasonably cheap. It's an amusing toy. Appears to be rugged, and no big loss if you crash and break it

Horrible image quality in general, and worst of all a major pulsing/flickering of the brightness in dark areas of the frame (eg shadows) and at any time gain is applied (always automatic). Looks okay in direct sunlight with no shadows, so hopefully you...

Compact and power way to capture the action!!

Compact and powerful camera that holds up in extreme conditions. I bought this to strap to myself or my board to capture surfing footage. The camera does not come standard with enough straps and fittings to get this right, but with a bit of creativity...
