It may be the smallest and most affordable camera in this roundup, but the JVC GR-DX300 ($999.95 list) produced the lowest-resolution still images and below-average video quality.

Though it performed well for a camera of its size and price, the GR-DX300 lacks the sophisticated electronics and image quality of the more expensive cameras in this roundup.
