JVC GR-DVL915U Camcorder Review - JVC MiniDV Camcorders

JVC's GR-DVL915U is another in JVC's line of sleek, lightweight camcorders. It weighs only 1.35 pounds and measures 3.82in. x 3.27in. x 7.41in. It retails at $1199.95 but is available on the market for around $750 - $800. The DVL915U is an improvement...

JVC the DV camcorder best!

Just before I traded up to the JVC GR-DVL915 I owned the model GR-DVL520. This camcorder was much higher in quality for a few bucks more...It has better quality video (especially in low light). JVC has always been my choice in camcorders, the last one...

"Fits like a glove", good manual features, I like the attached light for night filming.

Bottom load tape a hassel with tripod use, battery life too short (recommend spare)

Nice camcorder for ~$700 (in August 2001)

I just bought it 2 months ago but already took it for trip to Italy.

not expensive, light-weight, number of features, analog-in, DV interface, build-in still camera

low-capacity battery, still camera resolution is low (but enough for TV), sometimes confusing features

JVC GR-DVL915U Digital Camcorder / Still Camera With USB

Picture quality, large LCD, features, USB, inputs, price

Better than 10x optical zoom would be an improvement

Great Camcorder!

I spent 3 weeks researching which camcorder to buy. I immediately decided upon MiniDV due to picture quality and future availability. The remaining time was spent deciding which one to get. After much review and comparison, I decided upon the JVC...

Quality of video, features

Too many features sometimes!
