ok camera but wanted more for the money

By pikago (cnet.com) Read the full review

the video is good and i love the zoom but the durability of the screen cable needs to be addressed as that seems too flimsey

this camera is good for basic video shooting the zoom is awsome and focus works well video file size is ok avg 1 second=1.1 MB

the screen connector ribbon got pulled loose and it seems its a frequent issue with this model of camera after about only 5 months

Great little hand- held!

By moxo21 (cnet.com) Read the full review

Very good for the money. Great for taking home videos and take on trips to film on the beach or at sporting events. Its small enough to fit into a pocket, yet big enough to push the buttons and see the screen. The on screen buttons took a few tries to...

Fits well in the hand, point and shoot. Not many details to fuse with. Good sound and video quality

I can't seem to figure out how to use slot B as video too. I have it to automatically switch to the next card when I need it but sometimes I just wanted an event on another card, which required me to take out card A and switch them

Don't waste your money!"

By hay4orses (cnet.com) Read the full review

It's a video camera. It makes movies

The controls are very difficult to use and the instructions are written by monkeys with typewriters. If you have a Mac you will not be able to use the movies at all. It's a complete waste of time and effort

Two SD card slots allow for up to 64GB of storage, but otherwise the MS120 is a nice, albeit run-of-the-mill, flash-memory-based standard-def camcorder.

JVC Everio GZ-MS120 review

By Joshua Goldman (cnet.co.uk)

The JVC Everio GZ-MS120 is a decent standard-definition camcorder. It's comfortable to use, looks good, offers better-than-expected shooting options, and shoots satisfying video

Good video quality for its class ; Manual controls ; Small, comfortable design

No inputs ; No optical image stabilisation ; Thin grip strap

You also get a few recording effects, including 'classic film', which skips frames to give video that old-movie look, and 'strobe', which makes recordings look like a series of consecutive snapshots. Other options include a handful of scene modes and...

All in all, it's a good set of features

JVC Everio GZ-MS120

By James Morris (trustedreviews.com)

James checks out the dual memory JVC Everio GZ-MS120 - the company's latest 'YouTube ready' camcorder.

The Everio GZ-MS120 retains the half-decent image quality which made its predecessor a contender, and adds one or two extra features. JVC should also be commended for the fact that the Everio GZ-MS120 doesn't appear to come with a price increase,...

It arrives at much the same cost as its predecessor did at launch, which makes it relatively better value. However, you can still pick up JVC's own Everio GZ-MG330, for under £300. With its 30GB hard disk and similar image quality, it remains the best...

JVC Everio GZ-MS120 (blue)

By Joshua Goldman (cnet.com)

Keeping standard-definition minicamcorders competitive against cheaper pocket video cams capable of 720p HD video has basically come down to two features: storage and optical zoom. The JVC Everio GZ-MS120 packs the same 35x optical zoom as 2008's...

Good video quality for its class; manual controls; small, comfortable design

No inputs; questionable YouTube friendliness; no optical image stabilization; thin grip strap

The JVC Everio GZ-MS120 is a nice little flash-memory-based standard-definition camcorder.

That's one slot more than the competition, letting you go up to 64GB of storage should you want it. Oh, and its video isn't half bad either, considering its sub-$300 price.

Good video quality for its class ; Manual controls ; Small, comfortable design

No inputs ; Questionable YouTube friendliness ; No optical image stabilisation ; Thin grip strap

Yes, the dual-SDHC card slot is a gimmick, but hey, it works and it allows you to grow your storage larger than other manufacturers' camcorders. Other than that, the JVC Everio GZ-MS120 is a fairly typical standard-def camcorder.

JVC Everio GZ-MS120 with dual memory card slots

By Ricky (etechreviews.net)

JVC Everio GZ-MS120 is a sub t mind the big size, get this unit. It is not capable of recording HD videos but is an excellent option if you are looking for SD recording for putting clips on websites like YouTube. The bundled user-friendly software...

Compact, good video for entry level camcorder class, manual controls

Grip strap is too thin, the camcorder is not YouTube friendly, lacks optical image stablitizer

We would recommend the JVC Everio GZ-MS120 to people who are fond of Flip-style mini camcorders and don't mind the big size. We thought the two card slot was more of a gimmick than innovation and other than that the MS120 is a typical of a standard SD...

The highlights of this device is the presence of 35x optical zoom and two slots of SD/SDHC which lets you plug in two 32 GB cards, giving you a 64 GB storage space in all. There is no internal memory though. If you like Flip mini camcorders and don't...

JVC Everio GZ-MS120 Camcorder (red) Review, Prices

It is really difficult to eliminate the image of the cheaper video cams from the minds of the people but honestly speaking, this device has everything that can erase the impressions of those cams from your mind. The prime drawback of such pocket cams...

The quality of the video is quite good and also the designs are simply comfortable and suitable for any of the designers. Manual controls are fairly nice making sure that the user can never stuck in using the device

The user can't make any inputs in the device and also the ability to connect the You Tube is not compatible which makes the functioning worthless. The optical stabilization of the device is not good looking. The problem of grip is always an issue with...

There are different aspects of the JVC Everio that are considerable but seeing the overall view, this is the stuff that makes a sense and we recommend buying the camcorder.

The JVC Everio GZ-MS120 is such a device that fulfils both the ends nicely and appropriately. The camcorder is capable of 720p HD video and the zoom capacity is as huge as 35 x, the same capacity that the 2008's MS 100 was having. There are dual card...
