Better HD image quality than you would expect for a camcorder so small, but the price is a little high.

JVC Everio GZ-HD300 Camcorder Review

This year, JVC is focusing more on mid-range HD models than other manufacturers. While Sony, Panasonic, and Canon all introduced new top-of-the-line products, JVC spent most of its marketing attention on the Everio GZ-HD300 and GZ-HD320-two camcorders...

When you're shopping for an inexpensive, high definition camcorder, it usually comes down to making some sacrifices. With the JVC GZ-HD300, there are plenty of those: poor sensitivity in low light, mediocre noise levels, disappointing still...

Review: JVC Everio GZ-HD300 HD camcorder

The consumer camcorder market is making big steps forward right now. So while that camcorder you bought last year isn't in desperate need for an upgrade, if you haven't purchased one in two (or more) years then you might be surprised by what is coming...

Better HD image quality than you'd expect for such a small camcorder, but the price is still a little high.

JVC Everio GZ-HD300

The GZ-HD300 is one of JVC's numerous mid-range HD camcorders that were released in 2009. Similar to other JVC camcorders in the same range, the HD300 is compact, relatively affordable ($700 MSRP), and well-suited for novice videographers. The...

The best thing about the GZ-HD300 is its simple interface and easy-to-use menu system. All the camcorder's settings can be found under one menu, and it was courteously designed to explain what each option does. The HD300's automatic controls were...

Jvc Everio Gz-hd300 (black)

The JVC Everio GZ-HD300 at just under 12 ounces this camera is quite compact and light. The JVC Everio GZ-HD300 is slick, with an enclosure color of black and a silver border. The camcorder is also equipped with the normal 2.7 inch flip out viewfinder...

It's been hard to find a negative review on this camcorder from any of the consumers who purchased it. Most praised its compact size, and great performance and features, such as its great zoom feature

very good product for the price

Great camera, but a bit too small and light for the long periods I have to film for as the strap is very uncomfortable.
