picture quality very good, image stabilisation very good. It's too early yet to say much about all the things it can do and I am looking forward to working my way through them all.

Previously had much bigger camcorders. Found the zoom control a bit too far back for my finger to line up on it. Start/stop did not line up so well with my thumb. Both these cause movement of the camera when operating. View finder is fixed in position...

Quality filming in low light and with stage lighting, perfect for what I needed, filming the kids in stage productions.

Quite heavy. Zoom not as good as on previous camcorder.

External Mic/Line In Socket. Headphone Monitor Socket. Superb low light performance.

Can't stream live video via USB. No thumbwheel for real time adjustments. Jagged interlacing on pan shots.

Excellent picture and quality audio.

Enabling the use of an audio headset is clunky and difficult to setup. The interface spoftware for my pc is very basic.

The only bad fault I have found with it so far is having to charge the battery through the camcorder which means you have to stop filming for a couple of hours to charge the battery or go to the expense of either buying a few batteries or another type...

Fantastic quality images. Connected the camcorder to a HD tv, and pictures are superb broadcast quality. Very impressed.

Have only had the camcorder a short while, but so far none.
