The DBP-2012UD is built like Vin Diesel and boasts high-grade internal electronics that aim to deliver superior performance to the masses. The £750 price tag is as hefty as the player itself, but will be viewed as peace of mind for any AV enthusiast...

Excellent picture with standard and 3D discs, superb sound, formidable build and perceived quality

Only one HDMI out, which may be an issue, has only limited streaming support

Best Blu-ray player £300+, Awards 2011. An Award-winner at £750, it's a positive steal at this price
