Sharp BD-HP52U

When it comes to HD picture quality, this pricey Blu-ray player is as good as any other recent model out there, but it's missing some key features.

Solid HD image quality. Good SD-upconversion quality. Well-designed remote. Excellent Sharp Aquos HDTV integration.

Expensive. Limited features. Slow load times. No front-accessible USB port. Lacks integrated Wi-Fi.
