Low-cost, no-nonsense MP3 players enjoy a lot of attention, especially from gym goers needing something light and low cost. In 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities, the iRiver Volcano T7 is the latest in this category, providing a cable-free listening ...
Lightweight ; integrated USB ; acceptable sound quality
Buttons and interface ; music lacks warmth and deep bass
The iRiver Volcano T7 is a distinctly average performer in numerous respects, with competing players offering notable advantages in each. But if you like its design and don't require anything more than MP3 playback, it'll probably please
The wait is finally over for the Eee PC 1000, a laptop that promises to slay all that enters into the netbook arena. It's the most well-equipped -- and largest -- in the Eee series and has cast aside the usability shackles of its diminutive...

IRiver's Volcano T7 is a slim yet sturdy MP3 player with 4GB of flash storage and a neatly designed USB connector that slides into the player's body until needed.
The Volcano T7 could be handy for the gym or for short journeys, but with an awkward interface, a battery life of 12 hours and 43 minutes and an unremarkable price, it doesn't stand out from the crowd.

A small MP3 player with a good array of features, but it's just too fiddly to use.
