Nokia N95 8GB

By Andrew Lim

An updated version of the best-selling original N95, the 8GB is still rather chunky, but there are a few serious changes that make it a significantly better phone than its predecessor. Obviously it has more internal memory, but its interface is easier to

Larger colour screen; 8GB of memory; black casing

A few bugs and crashes; high price

Upgraded mobile phones are usually disappointing, but the Nokia N95 8GB is a truly superb successor. The larger screen, 8GB on-board memory and black casing are so seductive, we were sad to see it go back to Nokia, but it's still pricey and it's still chu...

The screen on the N95 8GB is significantly larger than the original N95's and flush with the casingAt the back of the N95 8GB, the fiddly camera cover is gone. Unlike the original N95, the 8GB doesn't have a lens cover, so it won't be activated in...

Nokia N95 8GB

By Mobile Fone Reviews

The good news is the N95 8GB is all in all a much better handset. The original N95 has had several upgrades, which we understand some of the issues have been dealt with

Just brought this phone whilst away on holiday in Dubai. Its a truely fantastic phone with multiple features and its just like my laptop, but just a-lot smaller. The Sat-Nav option is also very helpful on the N95 although you do have to subscribe to it fo...

Nokia - N95 8GB

chunky mobile with dual slider action

This is a large mobile with a readable screen. A definite improvement on the vanilla N95, but perhaps too chunky for some. And the second slider is an over-designed indulgence.

Things have moved on, though, and Nokia re-released the N95 with 8GB of built-in memory and improved software. I could go on, but suffice it to say that Nokia has thrown everything it has at the N95 8GB. Nokia - N95 8GB features - VerdictThis is a...

Nokia, N95 8GB

Festooned with features and has plenty of gigabytes to spare.

It has WiFi and HSDPA

A bit on the chubby side for a blower

The pearly king of convergence, the N95 Mark 2 is an awesome phone, a great music player, and just about everything else in between.

Nokia, N95 8GBFestooned with features and has plenty of gigabytes to spare. It's always been a proper, grown up's mobile with more whistles and bells than a gang of town criers at an early 90's rave, but the revamped N95 now crams in even more...

Nokia N95 8GB Review

By Mark Peters

Nokia N95 8GB Review : At first glance the Nokia N95 8GB camera phone has a limited amount of buttons. It gives the device its placid look. The front side caries the buttons for the menu, the multimedia menu, answering and ending a call. Directly below th...

Nokia N95 8GB

By Mark Hattersley

Should you think twice about an iPhone? With the latest N95, Nokia would like you to do so.

Has the key features missing on the iPhone: 3G and GPS, digital camera produces great images, great build quality, decent interface

Poor syncing connectivity to Mac computers, no Mac software included, lacks a touch-screen, simply isn't as much fun to use as an iPhone

As we mentioned in our iPhone review, the Nokia N95 is noticeably cheaper than the iPhone, and offers a wider range of technical features. One thing it lacks is the multi-touch interface that makes the iPhone such a joy to use; the N95 feels like every ot...

The transition from PowerPC to Intel hardware happened well after the release of the last version of Microsoft Office, so anyone using the Office applications has hitherto had to run them in the Rosetta emulation layer. While the Office apps worked...

Nokia N95 8GB

It's not quite all in the name. Nokia's revamped version of its successful N95 do-it-all smartphone may trumpet its extra storage in its moniker, but the N95 8GB brings a lot more than simply more tune space to the table

Wi-Fi and 3G/HSDPA connectivity, 8GB internal storage, Integrated GPS antenna and onboard maps, Sophisticated multimedia functionality, Large, colourful 2.8-inch display

Large size, No memory card support, Full voice-operated satnav costs extra, No Qwerty keyboard

A true heavyweight in every sense of the word, and a hugely impressive smartphone

Nokia N95 8GB Review

By admin

Only six months ago we reviewed the first N95 and we thought this was a pretty impressive smartphone, only really flawed by its poor GPS performance and battery life. Now ...

The newer N95 8GB is an excellent Smartphone, if not one of the best ones we have ever used, it's a great improvement over the original, the only downside still is its price at nearly £500 - sim free - it will require a lot of saving. Though if you see...

Nokia N95 8GB

If phone size matters not and you can't decide between the N81 8GB and the N95 8GB, have a read through this.

If you are vacillating between the N81 8GB and the N95 8GB then I'd probably advise you to go for this one. It is bigger, but I think it is better too. If you own an original N95 and really like the format, then this would be a reasonable upgrade.

It was only last week that I wrote at the end of my review of the Nokia N81 8GB that you should keep an eye open for my take on the N95 8GB. Well, if you waited, you may be pleasantly surprised; because I'd say the N95 8GB is a better device. But...

The Nokia N95 8 GB is better than the original N95. April 2008, and the 8 GB version costs approx. £70 more on PAYG. Alternatively, get one for "free" on a pay-monthly mobile phone contract.

3G and HSDPA, 5 MP camera, Symbian OS, Media players, 2.8-inch screen, 8 GB internal memory, Tv-out, Wi-Fi, GPS and Nokia Maps

No Xenon flash, No memory card slot, No camera lens cover, Low res. front camera
