It works

 

With the exception of "super wi-fi" this blu-ray player offers everything that it promises. Works perfectly. There is a delay in the response time of the remote when opening/closing an app or powering On/Off. This is a minor issue.

Good Wi-Fi Blu-ray

 

Good Blue-ray player, worked with little effort at setup as long as you have a basic understanding of wireless devices and how to sync them. Plays Netflix perfectly.

None as of yet, almost a year of ownership.

I have bought a couple of cheap Android streaming devices with Wi-FI and they both worked well as far as the Wi-Fi goes. The Sony Wi-Fi seems very weak. The signal strength is so low that it will only work intermittently.

I bought the Blu-Ray device mostly for streaming Internet content. I have only tried the disk player one time to make sure that it worked. I used a DVD disk to test it and it works fine. The Internet streaming works very well if I use the wired...

Better than anticipated

 

Bought this as a secondary device for a bedroom, but I like the internet apps on this better than the device (different brand) I use in the living area, I need 3D for that room, so if I need to update there I will look at Sony as a possibility then.

Seems to have built in auto energy saving settings, a nice plus for me. Turns out that I like the Sony brand internet hub for this device
